2026 Community Day

The 2026 GCHD Community Day will be held on October 29th, 2026, from 4 pm to 5:30 pm at the health department. This year's theme will combine Halloween and disaster preparedness.

There will be free snacks, trick-or-treating, an open house, and a couple of door prizes.

We will be collecting canned/boxed food items for our local food alliance during this event. It is not required; however, for those who can donate, we kindly request one item per household. These items will be donated directly to the Grayson County Alliance to help fight local hunger. The Alliance has specifically requested items that are sugar free/low sodium. However, we will accept any items that are sealed in a can/box and are within the proper expiration date.
